Is brown/pink spotting normal at 8 weeks?

Hya! I had a similar experience at 5.5 weeks as well. Quite a bit of brown blood in my liner this morning and then when I wiped there was some pink watery blood that hasn’t soaked onto the liner. I know everyone says it’s normal but it’s driving me crazy! I had an early scan on Friday and all was well and we saw the heart beat but wanted to check this is actually a normal part of pregnancy?! Thanks!

I had some pink/light red spotting on two occasions and the nurse explained to us it could be the Crinone irritating the cervix, and to do a good "cleaning" (TMI, sorry) every three days (but not more often than that). Have you spoken to your clinic about this?

Thank you! My clinic is in czech and I’m waiting on a reply but spoke to the maternity unit trying to organise my first appointment and she said if it doesn’t continue, it’s light and I don’t have bad cramps that should be normal! So that helped a little bit! Xx
