My son's headaches were being caused by candida glabrata fungal infection and was confirmed by a spinal tap fluid culture. Has anyone else ever been diagnosed with this before. It's a very aggressive fungal infection. He has cirrhosis. The meds for the fungus can cause kidney damage. Thanking you again for prayers. This regimen will require iv antiviral and antifungal medicines for a two week period maybe longer in the hospital.

Candida is a tuff one. Diet very important. I had a Homeopathic Physician finally diagnose mine after major headaches, dizzy, spacy brain function. She put me on a strict diet of rice and peas for a week then no sugar dairy ect. and taking probiotics and natural vinegar with the mother in it. I still follow this pretty regulalry. There is a German Homeopathic 10 day treatment that really worked for me but I don't know if it is still available. A naturopath might know. I had taken way to many antibiotics for another issue and it caused the candida albicans to grow like crazy. I would say to do all the research possible on internet and also look for a good Homeopathic Dr. I do understand the candida you are dealibg with is a bit different but they are closely related.
