Mass on Kidney

I go into hepatologist twice a year. I just received an ultrasound and they found a mass on my kidney mid pelvis. Has anyone else had this problem with NAFLD? Also, a fatty pancreas and perihepatic free fluid. It has been six days and I have not been able to reach my NP and driving myself crazy with worry.

Not helpful I know but those questions are beyond our ability. Determining what the mass means will require more testing. I know the mind jumps to cancer but it could be a lot of things so try to take a breath. A fatty pancreas is often associated with a fatty liver so not uncommon and perihepatic means there is some fluid outside the liver. All of these are questions for your doc. Hopefully you can reach your doc soon as it is easy to worry too much.
