Hi I am in need of some information, I was told back in 2017 that I had an enlarged liver; so go home lose weight and exercise. 2018 my liver had gotten bigger same answer. 2019 my liver had an even bigger growth with now I have a fatty liver, all liver blood test have come back normal all of these years. Also same response.

My GI doc this year said we are going to do a fibroscan and see if there is any fibrosis and if not I am going to let your general doc take care of watching your liver. Well my scan came back with a rating of F3/F4-- I received a letter stating that since my liver blood test are normal do a Mediterranean diet and exercise see ya in a year? I have pain in my right side, my stomach swells so bad it looks like a beach ball has been inserted into my stomach. I am extremely exhausted, confused and cant focus on anything whether be at home or at work. I am having issues that mimic thyroid disfunction but those have all come back normal as well. I have even made my general doc do test me for lupus. I feel as tho I need a second option but I am not sure who to go to now?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Find a specialist that deals with Nash or fatty liver. There is no cure as of yet. They are working on one, but what they say is all you can do. No red meat, lots of rest. No drugs unless they do not go through your liver, no alcohol. Ask for an MRI and a elasticity with MRI. At this stage you should be seen every 6 months. If bad enough you can get living liver. As by dr. says your blood test doesn't show it until its to late to reverse it. I go to Ohio State University Wexner Medical who is heavily involved with research of Nash. A cure is on its way. One out of 4 people have this silent killer. Good luck learn to listen to your body. If your liver rebels what you ate or did, dont eat it or do it again.

Thank you so much!! I will have them do those test. I Will watch what I eat and see if I can figure out what I can and can’t. Alcohol is not to much of an issue don’t drink to often anyway.

I will research the medicine I am taking especially the Over the counter to see the effects of the liver. Will keep everyone updated on my journey 😊
