Just had bloodwork show up as elevated liver enzymes, ALT 50 AST normal. I will get retested in a few weeks but this has been very concerning to me, can these levels go up and down?

Hi Wind
Those values can go up and down for a lot of reasons so they are a flag to wonder what might be going on but they are part of an examination of all of your medical details. It is appropriate to wonder what is happening but by themselves aren't cause for a lot of concern.
My doc told me it means liver is acting up so keep them in normal range .exercise and eat well meaning no sugars no white flours. Less carbs. And nice amount of vegies .
