As my doctors say, Blood work doesn't mean a dam thing. If your bloodwork shows it your on your way out of here. My blood work shows nothing but I'm in stage 4 with cirrhosis. My biggest problem is exhaustion and don't eat Beef or take any medications that go through the liver. Medicine is like drinking, it will kill you. I take Aleve for discomfort because it goes through the kidneys not the liver. Right now the only cure is diet, however they are almost ready for a break through to get rid of the cirrhosis. I'm praying for a cure before it is to late.

Hi Frankie

You may need more information. A swollen liver suggests problems of some kind but could have several reasons. Ultrasound doesn't tell you much about liver health until disease is advanced so you might ask your doc to explain it more fully. Diet is the almost universal recommendation and can manage some but not all liver problems so you need to ask enough questions to understand just what your situation is. In the meantime here is some information about what we recommend as an approach to diet.
