Hi,

Has anyone read this book? Plant based eating plan, fruit (a lot of apples) is not an enemy. What do you think?

Thank you!

I have not but looked at it on line and may read it. I do eat fruit- apples are supposed to even out blood sugarand provides some fiber. I eat blueberries, raspberries,or blackberries because of antioxidant qualities almost daily but usually with oatmeal, yogurt or cottage cheese. If it improves your foid choices to whole foods away from processed then it will benefit you. Then you can make adjustments to improve from there. Good, better, best it is a process until your good becomes better and your better becomes best. I would avoid citrus fruits esp with any protein sources because it increases the uptake of iron. also highly sweet fruits like grapes because it can cause blood sugar spikes. Avoiding or reducing meat consumption is beneficial as well as focusing on increased vegetable consumption. You can eat alot of veggies and still reduce calories when meat isnt consumed. Best wishes for good eating good whole foods and living healthy!

I would not be eating any glucose/sugar in any form or anything that my body can convert into glucose.

No carbs, including fruit. While some people can get away with it, sick people cannot. This is life and death. We need to be serious.

Eat clean to live.
