As you can see my liver fast test came out very good. It’s indicating no disease. But when you look at the ultrasound I had done after the liver test it says there is diffusely heterogeneous echo texture which I thought indicates fatty liver. Can anyone help me figure this out?

Well no single test is usually conclusive. Each one can have false positive/negative results sometimes even without obvious reason (which does not mean that it is somehow wrong). This something normal.
About "diffusely heterogeneous echo texture":
" The term "diffusely heterogeneous echo texture" refers to a description of an organ's appearance on medical imaging, particularly ultrasound. It indicates that the organ has a varied or uneven pattern of echoes, which are the sound waves that bounce back from different tissues and structures within the organ.
In the context of liver imaging, a "diffusely heterogeneous echo texture" could indicate various conditions or changes within the liver tissue. Some possible causes of this appearance include:
Fatty Liver: Accumulation of fat in the liver cells can lead to a diffusely heterogeneous echo texture. This is common in conditions like non-alcoholic fatty liver disease (NAFLD).
Liver Fibrosis: Scarring of the liver tissue due to chronic inflammation or injury can cause a heterogeneous appearance on ultrasound.
Liver Inflammation: Inflammatory conditions, such as hepatitis, can affect the liver's echo texture.
Cirrhosis: Advanced liver disease with significant scarring (cirrhosis) can result in a heterogeneous pattern.
Hemochromatosis: Iron buildup in the liver due to conditions like hereditary hemochromatosis can alter the liver's appearance.
Amyloidosis: Rarely, conditions like amyloidosis can lead to a heterogeneous liver echo texture."
You should contact your hepatologist with all so far tests. Only your whole medical history (including symptoms, tests, family history, possible liver damage factors) can tell you more.
But looking at the liver test results I would think this indicates no fatty liver, fibrosis or cirrhosis. That test showed I am good. My doctor also did several tests looking for possible hepatitis and everything was normal. I don’t have a hepatoligist as I don’t know of any in my area. I have been seeing a gastroenterologist and she told me my ultrasound was normal. From what you posted though it doesn’t sound normal but like I said the liver test showed all was good. I am just confused and unsettled as to what to do next. She did tell me to work on my diet and I have been doing that.
I am curious as to what your specialist says..what is she/he suggesting as a next step?
they say that this this blood test is as accurate if not better than fibroscan. I read so many people have overestimated fibroscans only to find out it was not accurate. To me this blood test is actually testing a part of someone’s make up. I think both are good tools for the tool box. I do both to compare.
I never had a fibroscan as my Doctor doesn’t think it is needed, hence this is why I got the liverfast test done. I think my numbers look good so hopefully nothing serious is going on even though the ultrasound said there was some texture.
I had a fibroscan last august fibrosis/steatosis than in February I did that fibrosis blood test it. And back as minimal fibrosis but I lost 45 pounds and got lipids and bloods to normal so that may be why I had better results
