I am actually considering suing the Veterans Medical system. They diagnosed me with cirrohsis in 2015. I received pills in 2016. I was just scheduled for a endoscopy and colonoscopy (heck get both sides at once) This is after a outside hospital already had diagnosed cirrohsis 1 year earlier. The VA never read these reports although part of their records and the initial diagnosis in 2015 was made by a VA Doctor but never acted upon was not even told it was cirrohsis until 2018 after any possibility of correcting it.

We see that kind of problem a lot because the management of the disease is not handled well by the the professionals. I was misdiagnosed in 2010 and did not get a proper diagnosis until 2015. No comfort I know but it lot of us have similar experience. Can't guess whether a suit like that could succeed.
