I have NASh and Dr says I need a need liver to survive beyond 3 years. Working to qualify for the transplant list. Any feedback from anyone that has experienced a transplant would be appreciated. Basically what is life like after a transplant. My Dr has me on lactulose and xifaxan to help manage ammonia levels.

Hi Lem, I am a cirrhosis patient but so far not a listing candidate so I can't answer your questions about post transplant. I suggest that you get acquainted with Mariel Carr as she is an expert on the transplant process, went through it with her husband, and now helps other people get through the transplant process. Here is a link to her site.
