Research reports are hard to read but you should pay attention to this one. It shows that only a Mediterranean style diet rich in olive oil reduced steatosis in the liver.

And it has a great taste too, so no great hardship to switch. If this is the best oil, which would you say are the worst for fatty liver, NASH, diabetes, heart disease etc?

Research shows that all saturated fats are inflammatory to varying degrees. Stearic acid as found in beef tallow is the most inflammatory with coconut oil the least of the common fats with the others such as pork and chicken in between. Olive oil is the most efficient energy source for the mitochondria so it is the easiest for the liver to handle.
