Hi everyone,

Here's an interesting article on the BBC web site about how to survive fasting and getting on with life at the same time I find personal stories very interesting as its a glimpse into someone else's real life situation.

Here's the article and I'm sure that we can all relate to some of the problems faced during fasting:

I am in "fat burning mode" so I have no problems fasting 20:4.

I have now done two 44 hour fasts, and I find that, in the middle of a 44 hour fast, a few kilometres of not-very-brisk walking is enough.

Fasting 18:6, eating at night while holding down a day job, without first "getting into fat burning mode", would be a recipe for disaster... but they have the motivation or obligation to do it.

The trick would be to start Intermittent Fasting 16:8 well in advance - so then fasting 18:6 would be easier.
