Staving off hunger is the big one when fasting so keeping our selves well nourished before and during fasting is in our best interest. I was really surprised to find out that 60% of the population are deficient in magnesium because of soil depletion farming methods and diet.
Interesting phosphates in some soda's usually darl coloured colas bind to magnesium and stop our bodies absorbing them. Refined sugars are not only zero magnetism but they make our bodies excrete magnesium so a low cal cola is not a good drink especially when fasting.
So I can well believe that taking electrolytes and drinking a broth made with a stock cube or bouillon would be beneficial when fasting and help to stave of 'hanger' anger because of hunger...π‘
