Klean-Prep - how many days?

My 12 year old daughter is impacted and she's done 7 days of Klean-Prep in hospital after 3 weeks of Movicol. It feels like it's not working as she's only passing watery stools, nothing solid at all. Is this normal does anyone know please? It's gruelling having 4 litres of fluids a day and we're both very tired now! Thank you

first of all I’d like to say that I feel for you and your daughter- it’s a very traumatic protocol. My dd had similar at that age. It is normal to be watery for a period of time as she’s taking on so much fluid. Since then I don’t think my dd has ever passed solids as she’s on movicol and picosulfate. For her the side effects of antidepressants ( v loose) have been a game changer and at last she hasn’t had repeated klean prep/ enemas to contend with ! Wishing you success🤞.

Thank you! They decided this morning that she could go home even though she feels like she has hard stools inside her still. Happy to be home but paranoid now that this will happen again. She's taking Movicol and picosulfate too now so we'll see what happens 🤞

Do you remember if your daughter felt sick after they had finished? Mine has felt sick for weeks on and off but she's just said she feels sick again 🙁
