poo on the toilet

my little girl has some additional needs and after alot of support has been successfully wee'ing on the toilet for two weeks. she's 4, her first wee was about a week after her 4th birthday. Her problem was that she always wee'd or poo'd standing or on all 4s' on the floor so it was very unnatural for her to go in a seated position, she'd try and try and be pushing but couldn't get how to wee like like,one day she did it, and it clicked and after that she had no problem letting it go. She just needed to understand how to do it mechanically while sitting. So now we are onto pooing,she goes very quiet prior to pooing so it's tricky to catch her at the right time,she's still in pull ups because she's not pooing in the toilet yet. Any advice on where to start. I've told her I want her to do it in the toilet and the last two poos I've said,good girl for doing a poo, maybe next time we can try it on the toilet and I take her to be changed in the bathroom and I empty the poo in the toilet so she sees that's where I want it and hears the splash so it's not scary later. I think I just need to keep persevering but if anyone has any ideas that would be great, reading on here I see a few kids who also struggled to learn how to wee and poo seated instead of standing or all '4s. She's not witholding her poo, she just doesn't think to run to the loo, it just comes. Usually when she's been seated and stands all of a sudden she goes but she usually crouches and I don't often see the start and she goes very quickly so I don't get much time to run her to the toilet.

Hi for sitting position get a washing basket we use as steps weren't doing the job turn it upside down so her knees are higher then her hip sit comfortably bubbles or anything she can blow this will relax her muscles letting her poo on toilet .lots of positive praise we do mum shop so on a Friday she get to choose something from there as stickers didn't work .my daughter coming up for 7 and we have good days and bad never get upset always positive there is a video on utube poo goes to pooland let her watch that .After eating 20mins toilettime. Time her 5mins 8 mins .also toilet seat u can pop one on top.but always keep it positive not negative. Hope that helps her and u.

Thank you, yes we always keep it positive 👍. I haven't had any luck with changing position but I will give the video a watch.
