Help! We thought the end was in sight & had established a reasonable pattern wirh my 3year old. But this week it’s all gone wrong... She hasn’t had a proper poo for 5 days. She’s had some small smushes & tiny poos (wouldn’t say soiling but not sure). She’s scared of going for a poo now as she knows it’s big and also she had a sore bottom for all the wiping. Have given Senna for 3 nights & am upping the Laxido (Movicol) from 1 sachet to 2/3 depending on what she’ll take. Have used sudacrem and now Metanium for the sore skin.
Q- Could she have become impacted over the last few days?
We saw the GP today & he could feel stools in lower abdomen (no surprise), checked her all over & says she’s fine. Asked for a urine sample to check for infection. But she’s got a slight temp & isn’t herself. Sleeping lots today, lethargic, not eating. Could be totally unrelated and a viral thing. But it’s weird and I’m worried.
Any tips? Was thinking to keep upping the laxido, give senna in evening again & calpol to take the edge of pain.
