Nearly there with disimpaction?

Hi, can someone advise whether we have reached the end stage of disimpaction please? Apologies for detailed content and pic! We've had 3 days of mainly brown water with brown/black small splutters of poo and today yellowish water with yellow small splutters. Is the yellow fresh poo or has it turned yellow because of Senna, as I believe it can turn urine more yellow?? I truly hope we're there and can start reducing movicol sachets.

I would just wait another day or so yet, if there are dark specs of poo in there, there could still be old poo inside. Dont forget to reduce down very very slowly when you do start to reduce.

Hiya can I just ask if you found out if you had reached the end? As I’m in the same position and this is exactly what my sons poo looks like? They told me brown rusty colour water is the end but that’s hard to tell when it looks like that lol Many thanks

Sarah

Also hope little one is ok x

Hi Sarah, we gave it another day and I read ERIC again which said it may have bits in so we scaled back on the movicol. In hindsight we reduced too much too soon (went straight to 4 sachets after giving 8) and my daughter is withholding again so I would suggest reducing slowly. Hope it goes well for you x
