My little boy is nearly 7 and he not dry day or night. He is quite capable of going to the toilet but he either forgets or get distracted and has accidents all the time. He doesn't seem to worried but I'm worried what the kids at school might tease him about. Doctors have ruled out medical issues so any advice is appreciated thank you

7 year old not dry
Hello, we have had similar issues with my daughter who is nearly 6. She would have regular accidents and being wet just doesn't bother her and medical issues ruled out. We have been advised to make sure she is drinking at least a litre of water a day and to be taken to the toilet hourly. This was difficult while she was at school as they simply didn't have the time/enough staff to make it their main focus. She was also wearing pull ups due to also having pooing issues so it was hard to tell if she was wet. Since being home in lockdown I have taken her out of pull ups during the day, set an alarm for every hour and made sure she drank evenly throughout the day and went to the toilet. She is now going for wee's by herself so it seems to have worked. I just keep making sure she is drinking enough. Still working on night times though as she seems to have a wet pull up in the morning but not sure if it's from when she first wakes up or while she is still asleep! And also still working on getting her to recognise when she needs to poo. Like you I worry about her being teased at school if other children realise so understand how you are feeling. Hope this has been a bit helpful.
