Hi I'm looking for some advice my son is currently on 6 sachets of movicol a day. And I'm travelling out of London from Gatwick Airport. Has anyone travelled with quite a large amount of movicol I'm going for 2 weeks so works out about 90 sachets I'll have to take with me. What the best way to take it with me and will it be allowed in hand luggage? ?

Travel advice with movicol
Hi I would put it in your suitcase and start him off when your at your location. Give him 2 sachets every 2 hours as long its in a 8-12 hr period. Have a good holiday.
Have you looked up the airline’s medicine policy? A copy of the prescription or doctors letter would probably be all that’s needed. Some airlines let you carry an extra bag in the cabin for children’s necessities (one kind security guy included maltesers in that definition!).
We've just travelled with Movicol. Take the sachets that you need for the journey in your hand luggage but take your prescription as well then the rest in your suitcase. We didnt have any problems.
I travel with large amounts i just carry a doctors letter just in case but never been stopped
Hi, I’m just back from holiday. I took it in my hand luggage so it was on my person and couldn’t get lost. No questions were ask. I also took the nesquik powder I mix it with. I use oat milk to mix it with at home but couldn’t get it abroad but I got soya milk and she didn’t question it. For some reason on holiday she was absolutely fantastic on the toilet and went every day some times twice! Hope you little ones the same and you have a fantastic holiday. The only issue I had was on the plane she was nervous and had held it in resulting in a lot of pain and distress. I told the airhostess what was going on and they were fantastic. They actually gave us our on toilet so we could go right in and take our time. We were flying with jet 2 xx
