disimpaction help

my 5 year old has been constipated and on 1 sachet a day of Movicol now for 3 years.

we have been to and from hospital, GP etc and now under paediatricians doing the disimpaction dose.

my daughter has autism, global development delay, sensory issues and additional learning needs and she is still in nappies/pull ups.

we are on day 2 of 8 sachets a day (doc said because she has just turned 5 to do the 1-5yr dose as the other one is too much for her) and I just don’t know when the end is near.

her poo today is dark brown liquid, like running down her leg it’s that bad. she had a few “drier poos” today, but now it’s back to the dark liquid.

when will we know it’s done? she’s so sore down below from it going all over her but i know she needs to be fully cleared out.

i will show a photo of what has been happening today, it just leaks out and she’s so scared of the toilet at the moment, and even if she wanted too she wouldn’t make it on time 😪

once she gets to the rusty tea stage then she’ll be close to finishing then you slowly move her back down, my daughter now has a stoma but I’ve been through this for 8yrs she’s 9yrs old now x

Do you know how long she should have this dark brown liquid for? Shes starting to have a tummy ache with it all now and I feel so bad for her 😭

It took 12 days for my daughter to reach that stage and when she got the tummy ache I gave her nurophen and plenty of water x
