Consultant has written to us/GP to say to go on this, though it is not liscenced for use in children. GP and I both think we should have readings for blood pressure and heart activity.
Any experiences of use of this med?
Thanks All x

Hello, I've taken it myself (as an adult) and even though I was on a small dose it raised my blood pressure so I definitely think it's worth monitoring blood pressure.
Hiya my daughter tried this and it gave her terrible headaches , it’s the same side effect she gets with the other ones too , the consultant told us to stop taking it straight away .
Hi there, I know this is an older post but I just wondered if your child ended up going on Mirabegron in the end? My 8 year old has just started taking it. He had to have an ecg, blood pressure check and blood tests done beforehand though. It’s early days but he has experienced some nausea so far but no other side effects. His Dad takes it too and it works well for him. Just wondered if your child had success with it?
Our GP was wary of him going on as not liscenced medicine for children. So we did blood pressure weekly when he was on it. He reported headaches which could be linked to BP so GP advised to take him off and we agreed. He was on it for around 3 weeks but no changes seen with bladder in that time.
