Hi everyone my daughter is seven and is still In a nappy at night. She has been ill with a stomach bug last two days and has had diarrhoea. Do you think it’s okay that I have kept her in a nappy the last couple of days, I’m only asking because while I don’t mind her wearing her nappy at night Because she needs it I worry that maybe I should just have her in knickers.
Anybody else with a bedwetter Just lets the child stay in a nappy? We use Drynites as they fit her well And don’t leak.
Thank you.

It's not whether it's okay or not;it's what works for you and your daughter. As she is wearing at night already wearing in the day when she is unwell to me would be a good thing saving her from embarrassing accidents and you loads of washing or rushing to find a loo.
My DD is now 10 and even now when she feels stressed or anxious or when constipated wears a bedtime nappy and sometimes in the day if it's bad so she doesn't have to worry about wetting the bed or her pants and when she gets the urge she can just do it.
