I have been advised to up my 5 year olds daughter of laxido from one sachet to two daily due to chronic constipation.
I was just wondering if there is a better time of day to give her the dose. Just now I give her sachet in morning but just wanted to try and get a routine in place if possible. E.g. sachets in morning = Poo at dinnertime. Any suggestions?
She is starting school in just over a week but not yet pooing in the toilet you see. Wears pull ups but is dry all day.
Thanks
Marie

Hi - i have no idea but just wanted to say my daughter is starting school in September and still poos in pull ups - we cant get her to take her medicines! Uou are not alone. Good luck x
Hi there, my daughter has movicol - pretty much the same thing but different make I think. I was told by the doctor to do one with breakfast and one at tea time. Hope that helps x
Thanks for that. Do you find she goes at a certain time of the day? I have given her dose late this afternoon as hoping this will make her go by morning so she doesn't go during day at school. My other threads explain why. Fingers crossed. Thanks again. Marie x
Not really to be honest, my daughters poo’s have never been very regular despite having movicol and Senna the same time every day! If she’s just having laxido then it only really softens the poo rather than actually stimulating her to go if that makes sense? Good luck 🤞
