Drynites (any good ?)

Anyone else use girls 8-15 Drynites for bed wetting for a teenager. Tonight is my daughters first night with them, she gets a bit stressed when doing/ preparing for exams and this can result in wetting the bed. I've heard Drynites can leak.. is this true? Are they more likely to leak with older children? My daughter is 15, I really hope we have minimal problems. Thank you all in advance xx

I think they are a good product but sadly they just don’t contain all the wee if the child is a heavy bedwetter. My son is 13 and uses them every night (we will be starting an alarm soon), but more often than not there is a dinner-plate sized wet patch - we wash his sheet and the mattress pad underneath pretty much daily. It’s a shame as they used to work really well when he was younger.

I have to say that sadly Drynites are rubbish, my 13yo DD wets through them so we have had to go to adult nappies, Tena Slip Maxi small, these work fine but she feels embarrassed to wear a proper nappy, but it is better than wet PJs and bedding, Drynites used to be so much better, I really do not know what they have done over the years to ruin them.

Hello, would love to be able to chat with you, my daughter is nearly 13 and bed wetting. This has been regular since she started secondary school, although there were the odd wet nights at primary. The alarm given by the nurse never worked and my daughter would take it off in the night as it was uncomfortable. I am about the pay £200 for the Therapee system and had hoped that someone might have had some success or insight to these in here but I’ve not had much luck (posted a while back but had no replies). This problem is really impacting on my daughters mental health and self esteem. I don’t know what to do and not does she. Bed wetting nurse nods, shows concern and goes through the same tick box appointments but nothing changes. When I read about this on here it mostly seems to be about younger children, so it would be great if any of you with older children can share ideas or experience with me.

Thanks!

My daughters 13, and has often used dry nights. They can leak in her case, but mainly they work fine. She's on desmopressin at the moment which worked great for a month and now seems to have stopped working despite the dose going up. She had an alarm, which never had any impact. It's bloody frustrating. She drinks loads of water, no fizzy drinks, does everything she's meant to.

I also use tena slip maxi and never had problems youst to youse drynights in.day for leaks but wouldn't hold a full.wet
