Can't buy drynites 8-15!

Help needed, due to COVID-19 I cam't find any drynites for my DSs age 11 and 9. They are sold out online and my local tesco that stocks them has run out. Not sure what to do we only have half a pack left. I panic brought some pampers nappy pants but even if they fit I doubt they will hold my DSs' wee as the drynites are soaked every morning (sometimes they even leak slightly). Any advice please?

What size pampers did you buy?

The baby dry size 8 are surprisingly capable, but you need to give the wings at the back a good stretch before you try to put it on an older child.

Tesco do there own big kid nappy,

tesco.com/groceries/en-GB/p...

My granddaughter was wearing them exclusively for a while there, she really liked them and found them comfy to wear but there not very big in the waist.

When I noticed they where leaving marks I gave in and ordered some small adult nappies to try.

Thanks, I got the size 7 baby dry pants. I think they will fut DS2 but DS1 I am not sure about. Tonight DS2 is going to have to wear them to save the drynites for DS1. Not sure what their capacity is like but considering his drynites are very full in the morning I'm not sure if the pampers will hold it!

Surely the baby size pants would be too small?

The nappies have incredibly stretchy sides, and size 8 come up just as high as large size drynites on my 10 year old.

The junior nappies are a bit different they are a bit plain and medical looking but are good if you can find them rather than squeezing your oldest son into a pullups ment for a 4 or 5 year old toddler.

We use a brand called depend from asda. They r adult nappies but very soft & not bulky at all. My daughter is a big 9 year old & she uses the small/medium.

Thank you, the boys 8-15 are still out of stock. Not sure if my DS will wear the girls ones but I will ask as we have about 4 nappies left

Hi, my AD aged 10 wears dry nites 8-15yrs, and she leaks right through a lot!! I always struggle to find them but normally Asda is the best place for regular stock at moment in Cornwall, they also do there own version, or what about trying the boys version of dry nites or even medium tena lady pants I’ve used them as a emergency before and they hold well although I taped the sides so they were a little snug! How about phoning your GP surgery and ask them for help? Good luck finding something x

Thank you, I find DSs leak about once a week and most mornings the drynites are comically full. Having said that DS2 didn't leak wearing pampers nappy pants last night so hopfully he can continue in them for now

Hi i have had the same thing for my 13 yr old daughter whonormally uses drynites. Ibiught some small adults boots brand and she seems fine with them and they are cheaper. Good luck in finding something that suits your children.

How do you find the boots nappies?

I couldn't find any locally in a smaller size, only the adult pullups that I think would of been to big for my sophie.

It annoys me that boots have a good range of adult products, and baby nappies but nothing inbetween, surely they could do something for school aged children.

Maybe ask Tesco to put some by due to medical condition. Or contact DryNites directly? Or put a message on Facebook? Facebook Market place?

I received an email today saying that Drynites can now be purchased online directly from Huggies. They've started this to combat the problem of recent shortages in the shops. They're a few pence more, but great to have another way to buy them.

All the supermarkets and home bargains have absolutely loads of drynites now, it's a shame my GD wont wear them anymore because she hates the new design of them.
