Hi, my 2yr old son has been on Laxido for about 6 months, he's been pooing every day with out pain etc for about 2 months now! We've begun to cut his 2 sachets down, very slowly. We mix them up then we've been discarding 5ml, then 10ml and so on. We're now discarding 50ml and up until now I haven't noticed a change. But for the last few days he's been straining when he goes, then today he's been saying his tummy hurts before he's pooed. I don't know whether this is him getting more control and sensations and he just needs a little time to get used to this dose or whether I should up it back to where he was "comfortable"?!? Any thoughts?

Hi, I was cutting down the dose of my sons movicol (after a year of him being ok) and he was also finding it harder to go. He got constipated a couple of weeks ago and it was horrible and we’ve undone months worth of work. My sons paediatrician advised us to keep him comfortable as the aim is to make it easy for him to go. My son is also starting school in sept so the Dr told us not to be in a rush.
Good luck!
