Nappy bags (loads) to bag and seal accidents so they can be dealt with. Lidded bucket.

Antiseptic disinfectant and a bowl, as soaking makes handwashing MUCH nicer/easier.

Use panty liners or dry like me pads.

Johnsons do bath wipes (giant baby wipes essentially) which are great for cleaning up messes.

I've been to festivals with an occasional soiler recently hence those tips!

My daughter sometimes wears panty liners to deal with accidents. It limits the mess. I agree with squizita. She gives a lot of sensible advice.

How old is DD? Could you not just use pull ups or Drynites?? - Throw them away with 0 worries of having to clean clothing whilst your relaxing. <3 x

Thanks for your replies. She's six so too big for pull ups but I might use dry like me pads to avoid having to throw away knickers.

No problem :) Is it a lot or just light soiling?? ... if It's heavy I would recommend Drynites pants as they worked a treat when my DD was soiling at night. They will also work better if she hides what she has done and continues playing/ sitting in her stool. <3

We are just starting to get help from gp they wanted to check it wasn't an infection and said to increase her fibre intake. But tests were clear and despite increasing fibre it's still happening so we're waiting for another appointment.

Could it be behavioural, maybe then? How was your camping trip, also what worked? Did you use pads in the end? I really hope this passes soon and you find the cause/ solution. X

Thanks pads were a big help. We were miles from toilets so camping was stressful but luckily my mother in law lives nearby and was able to do washing for us.

Well that was a blessing! Is your DD doing it daily? Are her stools loose or hard? What is she like with wees? I'm sorry to hear it was a stressful trip X

Not sure what kind of site you are going too, but my one piece of advice would be to take a radar key. We could have had access to a more family friendly shower area in the disabled toilet (we camped late may bank holiday) but could never gain access! Site reception wasn't able to loan a key and it was never timed right when the cleaner was around!

We use panty liners occasionally. Even if the child is quite old, accidents happen, especially at the camping. For example, my daughter never soils her panties at home, but in an unfamiliar environment it happens. You need to be prepared for everything if you go camping. So many things you need to buy and to get with you. You need many different equipment, including tents, sleeping bags, pillows, many personal stuff, stove, fridge, a lot of food. A professional camper always has a checklist on hand that way you don’t leave any essentials behind. And if you had a child this checklist doubled in size. When I need to buy all stuff very quickly I order all from amazon.com/Vont-Hurricane-E..., it saves me time.
