Injection Therapy Experience

Hi,

This is a repost from another post about BiMix/Trimix Injection Therapy. I wanted to give it some life so others could reply with their injection experiences and advice. I am 9 months post-Radical Prostatectomy and BiMix injections work very well for me.

********************************************************************

Luckily, and with the fine dedication of some individuals, there is plenty of support and information in forums like these. I was kinda worried when I couldn't even get a twitch from the little fella 8 months post-surgery, thought there would be something. I tried Viagra but it did abolutely nothing. Then I started doing more diligent research and injections sounded like the most promising avenue and so far it has worked very well. I hope the injections won't lose their effectiveness over time. I will also do more research on the use of cock rings, they seem to help a lot as well.

I will probably try generic Viagra (Sildenafil) in conjunction with the injections. My insurance company has already denied the need for Sildenafil as it was prescribed for ED. In my opinion, it should be approved to help recover a bodily function post-surgery. My urologist prescribed it and I can get it from a reputable pharmacy but have to pay retail, still not too bad. It's to be used at 20mg three times a day to help expand the blood flow in the penis. It can also be used for sex with a higher dose. Still have research to do on this.

Most of these treatments are steps on the road to eventually getting back natural erections, at least on the physical side, by getting blood flow to increase in the artery running through the Corpora Cavernosa, essentially the pockets that fill with blood to cause an erection. This is the area the BiMix injections go into causing them to enlarge and allow blood to flow in. (I am not a docter but I play one on TV)

There is also an excellent video on how to perform the injections although I can't find it at the moment. You can googlr for it.

Although I'm extremely pleased to be cancer-free, I look at getting erections as a quality of life thing.

First 3 injections were done with a small dose (10 units) of BiMix with partial erections obtained. I recommend using an auto-injector for the shots, especially if you don't like needles. And you should alternate left and right sides to avoid scarring.

UPDATE - after BiMix 4th day experience:

Did the 4th dose (15 units) of BiMix today, did not work quite as well as the 3rd, but still pretty damn good. I'm beginning to think that the location of the injection is at issue. The first injection (10 units) was on the right side (decent erection), the 2nd (15 units) was on the left side (no improvement), the 3rd (15 units) was on the right side (great results), and the 4th was on the left side (not as good as the 3rd). The right side has had much better results. Not sure why...

UPDATE - 5th injection

I tried using 50mg of Viagra along with 15 units of BiMix, same result as before. I have tried Viagra alone with absolutely no stirring...

UPDATE - 6th injection

I upped the BiMix dose to 20 units and things continued to improve. I'd say I got about a 90% erection, eureka! Gotta talk to my ED Urologist to see how much more is safe...

UPDATE - 20 Units

Used 20 units on the right side, good results. Used 20 units on the left side, okay but nowhere as good as the right side results. Enough experimenting to think that the nerves on the left side were damaged more from the RP surgery than the nerves on the right side.

UPDATE - Knicked Urethra

I injected the right side and felt a little pain. Within a few minutes, there was a small amount of blood coming out of my urethra. Also, my erection was nowhere near what I managed before so I probably perforated my urethra and injected most of the BiMix into it. Masturbation was painful so stopped. I read somewhere where you shoud press the needle in until you "dimple" the skin. I probably used too much pressure with the auto-injector and it pushed in too deep. I'm going to back off the pressure and also look at shorter syringes (5/16" instead of 1/2").

Good luck...

UPDATE - Latest injection

Injected 20 units into the right side, taking care to inject it into the right place. Worked pretty well again but still not a full erection.

Two questions:

Should I keep increasing the dose to see how it reacts?

Should I talk to my Urologis about switching from BiMix to TriMix? The TriMix test shot in his office worked well but hurt like a mother...

UPDATE (4/17/18) - Up to 45 units

Left side, very good erection but still not 100%. Will try 50 units on the right side next...

My experience with this procedure and these are actions with the same as yours. I used a very short diabetic needle and I had to use at least 25 millimeters of the medicine. It did work making the shaft hard but the head of the cock was soft. There is blood after the injection. However, if you don't inject in the right spot you're wasting your money and time because no erection will happen

I also take I also take Cialis daily 5mg. Cialis increases the blood flow around the penis which keeps me continent. Viagra gives me intense headaches I can't use it.

I take 20mg Sildenafil (generic Viagra) 3x daily for the same reason, to help increase blood flow to the penis. A normal dose of Viagra for sex is 50mg-100mg. Both Viagra and Sildenafil do not give me erections (Viagra worked prior to removal of my prostate) and they make me "flushed", e.g. my face feels warm.

Viagra gives me migrane headaches for 3 days. I take 5m daily of Cialus to increase blood flow to the urinary blood vessels. No ED medications give me an erection.

Did you ever try any Viagra/Cialis/Levitra) prior to prostate removal (assume you had it removed)? Due to taking anti-depressants several years ago which caused ED problems, my doctor suggested trying Viagra. It worked very well back then but not a twitch now.

My depression lessened enough to get off antidepressants so my ED was gone for a short time until I developed prostate cancer, oh well... :>)

also Beware of the generic medicine for Viagra. It is made in Pakistan or India in the active ingredient is not consistent in them. My doctor warned me against taking it. In the generic form, you never know what filler they going to put in that medicine. The doctor says the filler they use is different and not consistent

I have been using Trimix for about 9 months three times a week. Excellent results. I'm using only. 04 to .05 ml. More makes my erection last close to the 3 - 4 hour danger zone. Also on 5 mg. Daily tadalafil. Check out Empower Pharmacy in Houston online. They offer generics at a reasonable cost and they're FDA approved.

I'm 18 months post rp and have begun to find some natural erections at night. Not 100% but definitely something happening. I started Cialis, VED, and MUSE after the catheter came out. Changed from MUSE to injection about 6 months after surgery. Btw, MUSE was crazy expensive. Trimix is very reasonable from Empower Pharmacy.

I tried 20ml and it was ok for me. Then I tried 25ml, much better, 30ml gave me a hard on for 3 hours.. way to painful . Each Man is different depending on the amount of nerves that were left after rooter rooting us out, after the surgery
