Cutaneous Mastocytosis and Epi Pens
I was diagnosed with Cutaneous Mastocytosis this year. I’ve always had a few spots on my legs but nothing to write home about. Covid came (serious dose) and my spots got worse and didn’t leave. Again only on my legs. I have attended dermatology and haematology for lots of tests including bloods, Bobs

I am not sure what to do…
I adopted kitten recently, something I have wanted for a long long time. I love her so much. But, the past week, my asthma has been so out of control that I had to go to the ER on Friday night. My airways just closed up. I was prescribed an epipen in case it happens again. The last thing I want to

Too much Gonal F
Hi everyone I was due to take 375ml of Gonal F. I had 75ml left in one epipen so took this and then stupidly set the second pen to 375ml, not realising until too late. I’m due for another scan tomorrow to see whether I’m ready for my trigger shot and am terrified I have messed this up. Has anyone

neupogen and Kisqali
I had another blood test and my neutrophils stil below 100 so I cN’t start the Kisqali yet. My oncologist was going to inquire if I could get an injection of neupogen to elevate the neutrophil count. I will have my 3rd lab next week to see where the count is then. I don’t love what I read about the

Recurrent CMV Update
As some of you likely recall, I’ve been grappling with recurring CMV for many months now. That was preceded by many months with dangerously low white blood cell count. I was CMV- with a CMV+ deceased donor kidney. The kidney continues to work well. Low WBC count: I initially received Neupogen injections

low WBC Count & CMV Update
Okey, I haven’t posted for a while because I haven’t felt terribly well. I’m fairly sure this is due to the high dose of Valcyte I’m taking and have taken for all but 2 months since the first week of June. BACKGROUND I had a kidney transplant the week before Thanksgiving 2022. The surgery went well

CLL disease burden and neupogen
I am on V & O trial 20-044 and reading about CLL trial CLL14. Can anyone outline or define what is “high disease burden?” So far little side effects, just started cycle 3 - but have had a total of 3 neupogen shots during cycles 1-3. 1. Do the neupogen shots give any prognosis for how the V &O May

WBC Count in Normal Range (finally)
okey, I’ve been battling extremely low WBC count since early last February. (I’m 9 months post transplant tomorrow…) I’ve been receiving Neupogen injections but they haven’t worked as well for me as is typical. But they’ve been all we could do so I’ve injected either 2 or 3 times a week. My last injection

Advice Please…
hi everyone, I just received a negative on my beta. This was my second FET transfer. I have a consult with the doctor on Monday and was wondering if there is anything else I could try and do if not doing already. A little history…. • Diagnosed with ENDOMETRIOSIS • Diagnosed with HYPOTHYROIDISM

Could a Wasp sting challenge adrenal response?
I was stung by a wasp yesterday morning and lost the whole day to pain and fatigue. It felt as if my body was responding to the attack of the tiny sting and although it wasn’t what I believe to be a full blown anaphylactic response involving swelling and difficulty breathing, within an hour my lower

Hi, I was prescribed Epipens after an allergic reaction to shellfish last year. Prawns was the the thing that did me, never had a problem until now (age 67). With this hot heat (UK) lately, I`m just wondering if carrying the pens around in a canvas spectacle case within a shoulder bag negates the
