Is it true that if you are taking HRT it can still irritate the endo by feeding it even although you get hormone injections?

Hi aabb

Thats right, although the HRT usually prescribed to endo ladies is Livial which is the least harmful at encouraging the production of oestrogen which is what fuels the growth of endo.

Depending on your age and the severity of your symptoms you can choose not to take HRT even with the hormone injections. I am on my second lot of Prostap after a good result with the injections in 2010. I have also chosen not to take HRT in any form after weighing up the risks but I am 40 plus.

There is no easy answer and no easy way to treat endo either I'm afraid but good luck with what you decide, x
