I have these pain in the calf muscle nearly every night. It is really bad. It has become chronic now. It is more of a dull ache than pain..feeling like I was on my legs for hours.
Has anyone experienced pain in the calf m... - Endometriosis UK
Has anyone experienced pain in the calf muscle...my doctor says it's related to endo. Please help.
Hi
It could be because of endo pressing/irritating nerves that radiating to your legs.
Try a nice hot bath to relax your legs and also a blend of essential oils could be beneficial.
I use geranium, lavender and rose otto essential oils mixed in some olive oil and I rub/massage my legs and hips with it. It is a nice, relaxing aromatherapy. xx
Just a thought if it is related to our dear female hormones - I fitness train pregnant women and this is something that can often be a problem when hormones change during their pregnancy. I just wondered if was connected to what you are having...? So couple of things to try:
- could be a mineral deficiency (sodium, potassium and magnesium in partic) so you could try eating some banana shortly before bed.
- movement and stretching for your lower leg really has worked for a current client. Easiest one is to stand on a step and allow your heels to drop down, stretching your achilles and calves. This is a basic one on youtube youtube.com/watch?v=f_fAPIM...
And if you have the space, this one is great:youtube.com/watch?v=zRg0dQy...
Please let me know if it gives you any relief - I'll be so interested!
