Hi

I wonder if your body has become accustomed to the Zoladex and has decided that it's had enough for now and is fighting back.

You probably need a break, particularly if it's not doing its job anymore. Have a word with your gynae; they need to be kept up to date with what's going on anyway

Good luck :)

Hi,

Don't mean to be rude but why are you still on it? Its meant to be a 6 month treatment. If I were you id go back to your dr and ask about it. They use that for certain types of cancer also, but with Endo it should only be 6 month treatment

You can have it longer than 6 months as long as you take HRT from the 6 month mark I've been on it 9 months before xx

I had it for over two years the second time with HRT (I was advised to have it six months the first time) and I could have stayed on it longer on my consultants advice. I would make sure that you are having it exactly or earlier than 4 weeks apart (I used to book a little early my doctor didnt say anything) as I thought it wasnt working for the whole month and definitely do not have the three month one for the same reason. I did have a time when I was concerned that the pain had come back whilst still having the injections (no heavy bleeding though) but it went away by its own accord.
