Zolodex injection

Just been to see the consultant re scan results and discussed the pain. She has given me Zolodex injection in my tummy. New to me and aware of some of the side effects. How long does it take to get rid of the pain? And is there anything I need to know 😊

HI Hazeybabes, The side effects will not really be present if you have the HRT too like I do. I had 3 one month zoladex injections, then a three month one and due for my next on Friday. It has worked amazing and taken all of my pain away so definitely worth giving a try. The first 2/3 weeks caused more pain as my consultant said it would due to initial increase in hormones but then it settles down. xx

My gynea has written to my GP advising about the HRT stuff if I get symptoms but has asked if I can manage to not have it for this month that would be better for me x didn’t ask why though x maybe due to upcoming op or fertility stuff as want to try for a baby as soon as I can x the only thing I have had so far is pain around the injection site and my normal endo pains x

Hi there I'm on my 3rd one and experiencing anxiety heart palps nausea jelly legs foggy head click neck. I'm on livial but sp only helping with hot flushes and night sweats. Have you had any symptoms?

I only had the one, didn’t like the side effects 😢🙄 bloated sore everywhere, grumpy, hot sweats flushes x weight gain was the worse thing. My next op Is going to be a big one andneed to lose 4st in 4 months not sure would have been possible on it x stronger pain meds and trying to exercise instead x
