Everyone is different. But for me, after trying for a year and having a laparoscopy on 18th May 2011 and being on Prostap for 3 months afterwards, and my period returning on 22nd October, I conceived on 1st January 2012. Now 4 days until my due date... Good luck. xx

I am 29 years old and had 6cm mother-daughter (Cyst with another cyst growing on it) endometrioma/chocolate cysts in the ovary that I conceived from (found out during lap that was born with only one tube and ovary). This is my first pregnancy. x

Forgot to mention had cyst drainage during lap, and a month after being on Prostap the cyst was measuring 1.5cm so it had shrunk. Surgeon did not want to remove cyst he just drained it, in case he made ovary bleed/damaged it as important to preserve the ovary that I have. I think he is very good surgeon x

what is prostap ? if you don't mind me asking I'm ttc .

Hi Kate, Prostap is an injection to shut down the production of oestrogen in the ovaries to potentially relieve symptoms, because of the way it works it gives menopause symptoms.
