Pain management?
Hi I go to pain management its the same as going to a gynea but u have as much time as u like with them they help u decide wat treatment options u want to go for etc, its really helpful and they make sure ur happy =) hope this helps x
My GP referred me because I'm coming up to the end of.my 6 month course of zoladex and the only other thing she was offering was the coil but I want to start a family in the near future and it's a 5 year coil.
U get refered by ur go but ur gynea should b able to aswel, just to mention that u can have the coil out wen u want but I personally do t think its the best treatment for Endo but everyone is different x
I wouldnt advise the coil mine got embedded in my uterus last november and i was so ill of it i had to av a op to get it removed x
Hi, I went on a 4 week, 2 days a week course last year, it was a group course and I suppose the aim was really to reduce the meds we were on and to get us 'moving' again.... a physio, psycologist and a consulant in pain management ran the course. I was referred by my doctor to the hospital regarding my pain, then that consultant referred me to a different hospital to be considered for the course... work allowed my paid time off in the hope that it could better my attendance at work - which it has done as in the last 12 months I only had 2 days off in the last few weeks.
