There's a fellow sufferer on here called Lauren Auty who has a blog on this page about the Endo diet. She has recently written a book with recipes about it too which you can find on amazon really cheap. She has some wonderful recipes.

Hope this helps xxxx

Hi there,

I've been following it since January, although I have not got much will power where the wine and savoury snacks are concerned! But I think anything is better than nothing and I do feel that my pain has reduced significantly.

I am currently trying to do better with cutting out wheat & gluten to try and help my bloating.

A good website is :

endo-resolved.com/diet.html

I have 2 books that I bought from Amazon.

The 'Reclaim your life' one is particularly good, the other one is a new book published this year.

The links are below:

amazon.co.uk/Reclaim-Your-L...

amazon.co.uk/Take-Control-Y...

I have found that I have my own 'triggers', I think bread is one for me, too much red meat causes pain, as does white wine where as red & rose I seem to be ok with.

So, in short, it's not all doom and gloom on the diet, I am finding I can cut things out that I know are my 'triggers' and have some of the things you are supposed to cut out in moderation.

We're all different and I have been experimenting for 9 months now!

I hope this helps.

Good luck! xxx

Hi

I have been doing the diet for about 6-7 weeks now and would definitely recommend you give it a go. I have stuck to it as much as possible and have been strict with myself and it has improved things for me, it hasnt really been that long but the diet feels normal for me now.

Last week was absolutely awful pain wise but normally I would still be feeling bad now and since I've been doing the diet I've only had 2 days in agony which is the best in over a year. I wouldn't say its a cure but it has been very good at reducing the number of days I feel dreadful so thats a good improvement in my eyes. Also has proved very successful at weight loss!

Good luck x
