Does anyone else feel tightness around their ribs and pain/ discomfort in the kidney area. ?

Yes I did quite often it hurt a lot in that area, it was caused by the cyst on my ovary as is one symptom of having an ovarian cyst docs couldn't explain to me why though. x

I also used to get a a sharp pain in my ribs just under my right breast, and I also had a cyst the size of a satsuma on my right ovary. I had the cyst removed last year and the pain has gone. x

You are very welcome, I know it's hard especially when you haven't been diagnosed and you don't know why you are feeling this way, but it's still hard work when you have. This website is great as people who are going through the same things can actually talk and realise they are not alone. I also suffer with symptoms that are like kidney infections a couple of days before my period, my kidneys ache and I have a lot of pain from my lower back. It seems to ease off once my period starts xx
