Laparoscopy results

Hi all,

I had a laparoscopy last year and these were my results. Just wondered if anyone could break it down and explain to me? Is this bad endo or mild? I see people refer to ‘stages’?

At the top of this letter it says ‘laparoscopy division of extensive adhesions’.

I am in a lot of pain again only a year after my op, very similar to the pain I experienced before my op. Do you think the endo/adhesions could have grown back?

Also any tips for bad fatigue would be appreciated - I’m a teacher and am struggling so much!

Would be grateful for any opinions!

Thank you :)

hi darling, i'm coming up to my 3rd laparoscopy now; endo seems to regrow to a difficult point every 2-3 years for me, and after a year i can definitely feel pain again in the usual places. scar tissue doesn't help and can compound the issue, but it is definitely sadly something that can reoccur for you so contact your gyne if your pain is becoming unmanagable :)

it sounds like you had dense legions (aka a lot of them) on your left side connecting to your bowel but your ovaries were fine. more severe endometriosis, or the "stages" you mentioned usually goes up depending on how much of your abdomen and surrounding organs are affected. higher stages tend to be more widespread than what you have described but i wouldn't say it was mild.

my only chronic fatigue tip is a good multivitamin like wellwoman max or similar, otherwise just please be patient with yourself as possible and remember to take lots of breaks! hope you get seen to and are feeling better soon! 💖⚘

Thank you so much for commenting. I’m currently on a waiting list to see a gynaecologist but my appointment isn’t until July 😢 I’ve considered paying for a private consultation but then wouldn’t be able to afford any treatments privately.

Thank you for your advice 😊 sometimes I think it’s just nice to talk to someone who knows how you’re feeling! X
