’not really anything else we can do’

hello,

I’ve just come back from my latest consultation with the endo specialist and he was very apologetic but has basically said because the laparoscopy (where they found and removed endo) didn’t help the pain and neither did Ryeqo there’s not really anything else than can do apart from refer me to the chronic pain team…

I don’t really know what to do/where to go from here.

Hello,

Sorry to hear that you're recent consultation with a specialist, didnt end as you may have hoped. This condition can be so hard to manage on your own, even harder with no guidance on what you should do next.

Theres an online webinar in march with Endometriosis Nurse Specialist and Nurse Support Line Advisor will cover symptoms, treatment and pain management

endometriosis-uk.org/civicr...

If you're able to join, hopefully you'll have a better sense of direction and community afterwards.

Here if you need further assistance

hun my Endo consultant said similar to me but he said as my womb is tilted so far forward he said he reckons that’s why I’m in pain so I have spoken to the pain clinic dr she has given me a medication which helps the pelvic and lower back pain to near excistence but my other pains like groin and leg pain are still there constantly. Am sorry you’re in this position. I now have just given up fighting I had surgery nearly a year ago but it didn’t help my pain at all and as he said he excised it all he said the lap results said it had gone I haven’t been totally convinced though . I think with this condition I think even if you have had surgery etc I still think it can very much grow again. Take care
