Private MRI East Midlands

Hello,

I was wondering if anyone had a recommendation of someone to do a private MRI in the Nottingham/ East Midlands area?

I’ve no idea how I go about going private but my most recent ultrasound showed my bowel is stuck to my uterus and I’m getting fed up of waiting months for the next bit of information 🙄

Hi. There's the park hospital and spire. Iv had an MRI for gastro at the park. I think you will need to book a consultation first with gynaecology which I think will be around £250. Just go on the Park website put in gynaecology, pick a consultant and it will show days and times available. Hope you get sorted. X

You can have a private MRI at the city hosp Nottingham if you Google it you can see you can book different times cheaper slots. My endo addeno didn't show up on MRI at all and my bladder etc was all adherred severely. X

Yeah this would be my fear - the first two ultrasounds I had were with level 1 sonographers so it wasn’t until I’ve had my more recent ones actually in the gynae clinics that they spotted the endometriomas and scarring. I’d be nervous about going to a general MRI incase they didn’t pick it up 😩

Was yours only seen during laparoscopy then?

Mine was picked up by an internal scan the lady that did it had endo herself and she was the first one who saw and diagnosed it despite having loads of internal scans. MRI showed nothing and I struggled as you have to hold a plate on your stomach and I was in so much pain already. 😢

Gosh that sounds horrible 😩 I’m glad you had a good sonographer though who was able to spot it.
