Hi all,I've now had 2 laproscopies to remove endometriosis (1st to diagnose and remove, 2nd to remove lots and unstick my bowel), neither showed any signs of endo on the ultrasounds or MRI. I had a hysterectomy (ovaries left intact), 31st july 24, due to ongoing pain and difficulties, again nothing showed on my scans but showed up in theatre.
And now I'm getting bad pain and swelling and feel it is round my bowels again, I'm scared to go back to the doctors again as I just know it'll be referral to scans to "see nothing", wait to finally see gynaecology to maybe have another laproscopy if they actually believe it is back.
Has anyone else been through / going through similar?
I'm just in agony and exhausted once again, any advice/ knowledge I'm not the only one is welcome π

I don't know if this will help you or not, or you may be doing it already, but after my last surgery (my 4th) in 2017 I changed my diet to eat less inflammatory food as I really wanted to avoid any more surgery. I had been eating a paleo diet previously. I went quite extreme (but did it slowly) and went vegan, low fat, no processed sugar, gluten free, no alcohol, no processed food, no soya, no rapeseed oil, caffeine free. My fun free diet as my friends called it!
I can't say for certain, because the surgery may have helped it that time, but I haven't had so much pain since. Obviously it's not the most fun diet but you could try just some things. I believe that there is plenty of information on the endo diet diet out there.
Hopefully someone else can come up with suggestions for you.
I wish you all the best moving forward. I feel your pain, endo is a cruel disease!
