I had a MRI on NHS after a private consultation at Nuffield after waiting over a year for an NHS appointment. It has been 8 months wait for a follow up appointment since then, I just keep receiving messages from the hospital telling they are experiencing longer than usual waiting times. I cannot handle the pain any longer. Can I now pay for health insurance to have surgery privately for my endometriosis? ( I want a hysterectomy) Am I correct in thinking you cannot have health insurance pay for a pre existing condition before taking out the health insurance.
