So after the horrible experience with the gynaecologist I received a phone call to put me on the list for my lap 22nd oct, when I got onto the ward and was seen by the doctors etc beforehand I was informed it would be a different gynaecologist and let me tell you he was AMAZING! He said that having my hernia scar was no issue he would just change that incision site etc!
Laparoscopy carried out and I had adhesions unstuck, biopsies taken but due to what he’s found I now have to be referred to an endo specialist, funny how the other gynae told me the lap would be a waste of time!
Now to try and get rid of this gas pain and hopefully when I’m more comfortable I’ll be able to sleep, one tired soul over here right now!
Thank you for all your previous advice it worked and I’m so grateful ☺️

So glad you've been referred to the specialist and finally have that validation from your surgery. Have the docs given you any medication such as omeprazole? Peppermint tea is a life saver as well. Take care recover well x
Thank you I’m just so relieved that someone has listened to me I know it sounds silly but I cried! Yes I’ve got omeprazole, oh thank you I’ll try that will try anything at the moment, did you have to wear the stockings for long I can’t remember what the nurse said as it was late last night I was discharged x
Omeprazole and peppermint tea did it for me.The stockings i had to wear for 2 weeks but after a few days i was allowed to take them of for a couple of hours per day.
oh I’m so pleased you got a decent doctor, they make all the difference AND you were right that other nasty one was totally wrong. (Find it’s usually the not so good ones who gaslight rather than admit they know nothing much about our disease. How dare they dismiss your suffering.
Im pleased you also received an explanation -and diagnosis after a stressful battle.
