chest pain

hello everyone, I was wondering if anybody experiences any kind of chest pain with endo or adeno? I’m not sure what causes this or if this is the cause but I have a feeling it could be one of these conditions.

For the last couple of months I’ve massively felt chest pain on both sides, (mostly where my heart is) having to breathe heavily to make the pain go away almost as if something pops? I’m very short of breath if I go on any kind of walk or walk up stairs and I’m starting to get worried if this is progressing and affecting my heart/lungs etc. please reply if you’ve felt something like this!!! Or if you have any advice and I could be over exaggerating 😢

sounds like its the start of thoracic endometriosis, which is what i have.

Check out my other post on here, me and another lovely lady on here who both have it are comparing symtoms.

Its quite rare, so there arent many on here, but good news is, even though its Probably the worst symtom of my endo, its nothing to do with our hearts, its refered pain from endo on the diaphram.

My post is called “thoracic endometriosis symptoms.”

This was very helpful thank you. I’ve always suffered with heartburn but for the last few months I have maybe 5 episodes of shooting pains in my chest a day with shortness of breath and pain until I breathe heavily which has started to be worrying

Hi.

I’m sorry you’re going through this.

I do get a variety of chest pains and have just been diagnosed with diaphragm Endo (10 years after stage 4 pelvic/ bowel diagnosis) The majority of my pains are the right hand side under my ribs, at times making it almost impossible to breath in.

I also get episodes of a racing heart and a catchy type pain. I get really scared with this having recently lost my Dad suddenly to a heart attack.

I definitely think anything with your chest needs a proper investigation though. I know how stressful it is trying to get anything investigated with NHS how it is now but I’d hope they’d take chest pains very seriously. If they don’t, please persevere. Or next time you’re having them go to hospital for immediate investigation.

Best wishes to you xx

I forgot to say I believe the bowel endometriosis causes a lot of gas and bloating which also causes a lot of trapped gas which can be very painful and in worrying locations at times.
