Hello I'm just wanting some guidance or opinions on desogestrel pill if anyone has been on it for endometriosis or Adenomyosis to help with symptoms. I'm just a bit worried about my weight going up as I'm trying really hard to get it down and my skin turning on me.

Thank you in advance 😁

I'm on desogestrel for endo symptoms. No weight gain. That's a side effect that people do sometimes talk about for desogestrel but it's not actually proven.

It has helped my symptoms in terms of pain, but I felt like crap for the first six weeks. You just have to power through. But not everyone will have that, or the same side effects, so you just kind if have to try it and see whether it works for you. There are different brands that you can try too if one doesn't work for you.

Whereas I’m the opposite to CitezenErased, generally speaking progesterone only does not agree with me. No weight gain, but depression, terrible skin and constant bleeding!

It’s really just worth trying it might be ok for you x

I had desogestrel it made me bleed worse more pain kept up with it for 3 months no reprieve so I came off it. But it was worth a go I thought.

I've been on desogestrel since March to control my endo symptoms. It took a good 3 months before the pain and bleeding stopped. I have noticed my skin has gotten worse and I think it is affecting my mood. I have put on weight but that's because I have been eating more, which may be linked. But I think I can deal with the side effects to not be in pain anymore x
