the only side effect i really had was at the start and that was some nausea, obviously it differs for everyone but that went away after a couple of weeks! and my pain was horrible, i still get flare ups every now and then but it's so much better, and i used to get this leg pain that had me limping but haven't had it since going on the dienogest and i started it in march!

I tried taking it on two occasion for up to 4 months at a time. This is one of the worst drugs I have taken. It made my pain worse and I did not stop bleeding for 4 months every day. It also made me feel depressed with feeling of anxiety, anger irritability.

This is my experience, I know progesterone affects people very differently.

Good Luck xx

Fairly quickly, I think I had a follow up appointment about 6 weeks later and was reporting it working.

My daughter is starting it today for her adenomyosis. She had prostap for 12 months and her laparoscopy showed no active endometriosis. I'm very scared of side effects as she is always nauseous and in pain as it is and no quality of life. She has mirena in also..not sure what other options she has..she's only 24.Any advice would be great thankyou
