i am yet to be diagnosed but have cysts, i get this back pain in my lower back both sides which gets worse when im ovulating or on my period or hold in a wee or stand for more than 10 mins.
Is this a symptom or relatable or do i just have a bad back? It just seems to be getting worse.
Thanks for any info!

Hey there, back pain was a symptom for me. Almost 3 weeks post op and that has improved. I also had and still now have pelvic pain due to uterine cramps, but I think this is due to my adenomyosis.
Its such a frustrating symptom, its just there so often but im glad yours has improved post op though! I used to get so confused what the back pain was but it does sound like a symptom
I’ve had back pain for 18 months and along with the pelvic pain no one could tell me what it was. In the end it was me reading up, advocating for myself, and in the end having a consult, MRI and surgery all privately that has got me where I am. Women’s health service is woeful 😔
Hi Back pain for me! It's low and central for me. But sometimes it feels like my backs going to snap. Definitely worse during ovulation/period.
I'm awaiting a diagnostic lap but from my MRI they expect deep infiltrating endometriosis of the bowel fused to my cervix, I also have complex cysts on both ovaries and PCOS x
I used to suffer from lower back pain as well. The only thing that helped to ease it was yoga. I am currently doing 25-30 min of yoga everyday focusing on lower back and pelvis and it helped with both back pain and cramps. I really recommend child's pose (I start my day with around 5-7 min of child's pose) and back twists. Total game changer!
