Hi all.

Reaching out for hopefully a little help. My belly button is so raw and on fire nothing is helping atm I'm wondering if anyone else suffers with umbilical endometriosis and has found anything that helps 😭 I use warm compress, keep it clean and have tried painkillers paracetamol and ibuprofen but nothing is touching it this time round

Hello, I am suffering from the same. Nothing has helped me, I keep taking painkillers. Currently waiting for surgery to excised it. I have had diaphragmatic endometriosis surgery 3 months ago.

I seen my consultant in September but since then they have moved me to a specialist centre which I'm still awaiting my initial appointment so don't know who to speak to for help as my GP treats me for an infection which I know it isn't 🙃

I don't know if this is of help but I've actually had 2 umbilical hernias as a result of endometriosis and how it distorts your anatomy. The last one resulted in an emergency operation as it strangulated. I was having a horrendous period at the time. Perhaps your GP could check you haven't got a hernia. They are extremely painful or at least they are if they involve endometriosis.

Even if you haven't got a hernia, endometriosis there is very raw and painful!

Hope you can get help. Good luck xx
