Symtoms off Endo?

Hi everyone, just wondering if anyone suffers with pains under their ribs, either sharp stabbing or a dull ache. It always starts from ovulation and lasts up until my period but the pain comes and goes then comes on full throttle on my period. I'm so worried its diaphragm Endo as this can be one off the symptoms off it. Just wondering if anyone has been diagnosed with Endo that has this symptom xx

I do but it’s been 2 years and I am going nowhere with NHS so I need to go privately. It got to the point that it’s been about 2 years now

Sorry to hear your suffering with it too. Do you think it's Endo related? Have you got suspected Endometriosis? NHS is very long and frustrating. I'm thinking off saving up for a private MRI scan as it shows alot more than an ultrasound

I do too! I was diagnosed with endometriosis about 8 years ago (via a lap) which has been really well controlled with the Mirena coil until recently. I seem to be having a flare up with tummy symptoms the same as originally but also getting rib/lung pain with right shoulder pain like after the lap and O2 saturation drops. They originally thought it was gallstones but that has now been discounted. My GP isn’t being very helpful and thinks it is anxiety/panic attacks but I think it could be endo because it seems to follow the same pattern as my tummy (2 weeks bad, 2 weeks not so bad). I’m therefore looking at seeing a private consultant because they don’t seem to be willing to even investigate the possibility of endo.

Sorry to hear your suffering too with it. I think I might go private as well even for an MRI scan as it will show alot more, especially higher up. Yes it ls definitely a pattern for me, 2 weeks prio to period then two weeks off surely if it was gallstones the pain would be happening more often. Its very scare to think it's Endo related as its meant to be very head to get a diagnosis for diaphragm Endo. I hope you get some answers soon

I get this too! On the right hand side just under my ribs and cyclical. My GP thought I pulled a muscle but it's lasted for ages. Never thought it might be endo related - I've actually never heard of diaphragm endometriosis but definitely going to look into it now! I'm got endometriosis on my bowel, appendix and ovaries, diagnosed through a lap. Hope you get the answers you are looking for.

Thanks for the reply. Sorry to hear your struggling with it as well. Yeah I'm just really confused as my internel scan was clear and pelvic exam but the gynaecologist still put me on the waiting list for diagnostic surgery but already been waiting 5 years and they said it could be another 5 years. I hope you get your answers too
