Mini Pill and anxiety

Hi all! My anxiety is so bad atm it is causing me to be dizzy and have even worse pains than I already have. I'm even getting pains in other areas which j believe is because of stress and anxiety 🙃

I don't know what is possible endo pain and what isn't anymore! My mental health has been horrendous ever since getting this pain and the anxiety just gets worse the longer I don't know what I have or what is going on!

I have been put on the mini pill again, even though this didn't work when I was younger, and I'm hoping it sorts out my anxiety.

Does anyone know if the pill will help?

Hi

It’s more likely to be pesky hormones causing the anxiety, hopefully the pill will help. Where are you in your cycle as emotions run high in the run up to period. The pain won’t be helping though, are you taking pain meds regularly? I kept being told to take paracetamol regularly as a preventative, not that I always remember.

Time of year doesn’t help, you’ll be ok 🙂 you aren’t having a breakdown

I'm about 2 weeks away from my period. Just ovulating I'm guessing. I do take naproxen and paracetamol but try not to take it often as I don't like taking loads of tablets.

That's good to know though, thank you!

Hope you’re feeling better today. Likely ovulation has set things off. This disease upsets the whole balance.

Did they give you omeprazole to take with naproxen?

No just naproxen. Is that the anti acids?

It helps stop stomach ulcers, that type of medication can sometimes cause them.

Ahhh yes I used to have that with naproxen but the last 2 times I've been offered it they never mentioned taking it so I guessed things had changed???

Probably worth checking at some point.

Hope you have a pain free day tomorrow and can enjoy Christmas 🙂
